Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend has revealed the real reason he insists on dressing his girlfriends in racy clothing after his controversial Grammys stunt with wife Bianca Censori.
Amber Rose, 41, who dated the rapper from 2008 to 2010, spoke out after Kanye was met with backlash at this year’s awards ceremony red carpet in February.
At the event, Bianca, 30, posed practically naked in a completely see-through dress next to her husband, 47.
Speaking to Shannon Sharpe on the Club Shay Shay podcast, Amber didn’t hold back when she was questioned on the stunt and Bianca’s very racy wardrobe throughout her relationship with Kim Kardashian’s ex.
She responded: ‘Kanye is for sure dressing her like that. Yeah, he did the same thing to me and Kim. It’s just who he is.
‘He wants other men to want his woman,’ she insisted.
‘That’s what he’s into, he likes that. He likes that men are drooling over his woman. That’s what he’s into.
‘He wants all his friends to want to f*** his girlfriend. He wants everybody that when you walk in a room, that his girlfriend or wife is the most desirable.’
Shannon then quizzed Amber on how she dressed during her romance with the rapper.
She admitted: ‘I was young and I’m gonna tell Kanye now, when I’m that young it’s like okay, you’re buying me this stuff, I do look pretty and cool.’
When asked about an occasion in which she wore a see-through style dress herself, Amber admitted that she wasn’t happy.
‘Yes, I did. I cried. I remember crying. I was in like Italy or Paris or something and I remember crying and arguing with him and being like I don’t f*****g want to wear this s**t, I don’t wanna wear it.
‘[He said] You don’t understand, it’s fashion, I’m a genius. It’s like, okay, I still don’t wanna wear it but I went in wearing it, they ate me up on the internet.’
Kanye and Bianca’s red carpet controversy was the latest in a string of his shocking behaviour, including declaring himself a ‘Nazi’ on social media platform X, which has reportedly left his wife of two years ‘traumatised’.
‘Bianca is deeply traumatised by Ye’s actions, and she does not align with these views at all. She is horrified by what he has done, as are so many people close to Ye,’ an insider told DailyMail.com.
The Golddigger rapper and his employee Bianca were first seen at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills sharing a meal on January 9, 2023, per TMZ.
It was later revealed that the pair secretly tied the knot in December 2022, just one month after his marriage to Kim Kardashian officially ended.
Kanye and Kim married in 2014 and share children North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. The Kardashians star first filed for divorce in 2021.
